Establishment of Innovation of Education Institute
Innovation of Education Institute was established at hte Faculty of Economics of VSB-TU Ostrava on November 1, 2005. (further only IEI)
Establishment of Centre Slunečnice
Centre for the handicapped students Slunečnice was open on October 30, 2006. Rector of VSB-TUO, dean of Faculty of Economics as well as Tyflocentre director and many others accepted the invitation to participate in this event.
Activities of IEI
The activities of Innovation of Education Institute comes from long term activities in the field of implementation of new methods and forms into education being accelerated by Information and Communication Technologies development. Team members are active professionals in eLearning and web education recognized in Czech as well as international context. The base for the upkeeping the trends in this fast developing area is also long term cooperation VIRTUNIV, universities of the Moravian-Silesian region being accompanying by Moravian faculties. The team members work as the coordinators of many international and national projects.
Educational system LCMS Moodle out of open source is used for online education in daily, combined as well as lifelong education. Its worldwide continual development guarantees friendly and more effective communication among all subjects during the education process.
