The Conference is held under the auspices of prof. Ing. Ivo Vondrák, CSc., the rector of VŠB-TUO.

During the conference there will be parallel programme held - Workshop Women, let´s learn to make a business - practical work in online courses - elearning courses to support entrepreneurship are available in 8 languages on http://moodle.vsb.cz/euwomen. Participants can start their work on the internet in their own online course EU Women.

The conference can be attended without conference fee but there is registration needed or to register your presentation (contact: Hana Poštulková, hana.postulkova@vsb.cz). Unoffical meeting of the conference participants at common dinner will be a part of the conference.

O konferenci

Final Conference

  • the final conference being organized by the university increased the project prestige and its outcomes as well as it increased the credit of the online courses
  • the conference participants gained the personal experience with online courses by working themselves on online courses during the workshop being organized currently with the conference
  • 250 personal invitations increased significantly the awareness of the project outcomes
  • the invited contributions of the well known persons of women entrepreneurship presented at the conference supported the interest in the project outcomes
  • presentation of businesswomen from different countries being held at the conference, of which the case studies become the part of the online courses, is good motivation for other
  • personal informal meeting of participants during the conference increased a motivation to get more inforamtion about the project outcomes
  • the public was addressed through the press and TV report directly from the conference
  • Conference EU Women (see Konference EU Women) being held at VSB premises significantly contributed to outcomes´ dissemination and target group addressing. The conference was held under the auspices of University rector, by which its prestige was higher mainly towards organizations and public administration subjects.
  • To promote the conference there were leaflets made informing about the conference and its goals and outcomes in 8 partners languages. In the Czech Republic there were 500 of them distributed together with leaflet about EU Women project and educational on-line courses of entrepreneurship. Besides personal invitations information about the conference was also distributed on the internet (in English and Czech), on local permanent panels and in press (in Czech).

  • Case studies of 5 partner countries had been presented (see Na konferenci byly prezentovány Case Studies).
  • 80 participants took place at the conference.
  • Within the conference a workshop had been organized. Participants got acquainted with on-line educational courses.
  • Media representatives were present at the conference and they made reports, which has been showed up in the press and TV.
  • English and Czech languages were official languages but during some partners´ case studies presentations there also was multitranslation provided.

To evaluate the conference there was small questionnaire created although oral evaluation was provided when participants gathered during and after the conference. Also significant personalities of public organizations expressed their opinions.

  • The questionnaire was distributed at registration desk on the day of the conference. The part of the questionnaire was also to test participants´ satisfaction with the conference as well as interest in future on-line course EU Women supported by the tutors. Such as course could be offered at the universities within the lifelong learning for wide public being supported by the university professionals.
  • There was 18 questionnaires handed in, of which statistics was made.
  • The conference was evaluated very positively by both – participants and partners as well as by coordinator´s National agency representative. Positive feedback was also to press news and TV reports, people conveyed impression that information got closer to the target group.
  • Conference participants showed big interest in on-line tutored course presented within lifelong learning. They supported the idea of this form of further use of project outcomes.
